A drum cushion. Four legs. A ring for your feet.
Morning light over the harbour. A long quartz island, a bowl of lemons, and two stools pulled out a foot. The seat top is 30 inches high. That is bar height.
A drum cushion. Four legs. A ring for your feet.
Vogogna is a backless bar stool. No back, no arms, no swivel. The cushion is 8 inches deep and sits in the notched tops of four square rubberwood legs.
Walnut is a warm mid-brown. Dark Walnut is deeper. The seat stays ivory either way.
The cushion is a flat-topped drum, 15.5 inches across. Each leg is cut at the top to hold its side. Cross rails under the seat tie the four legs together, and a round footring sits 11 inches off the floor.
SketchFinished
Move the slider to see the drawing beside the finished stool.
The drawing starts with the drum: a flat top, straight sides and one seam.
Each leg top is cut to wrap the side of the cushion and hold it in place.
A round footring joins all four legs, 11 inches off the floor.
The seat is wrapped in an ivory linen-look fabric over thick, high-resilience foam.
The frame, legs and footring are solid rubberwood, finished in Walnut or Dark Walnut.
An ivory, linen-look fabric over thick, high-resilience foam. Spot clean with a damp cloth.
Legs, cross rails and footring in solid rubberwood, with the grain showing through the finish.
No swivel and no wheels. Four legs and cross rails keep the stool steady.
Up close, the fabric is a fine, even linen-look weave in ivory with a soft grey cast.
The cushion has a flat top and straight sides, with one seam around the top edge. No buttons, no tufting.
Each square leg is notched at the top to wrap the side of the cushion. Cross rails run under the seat between the legs.
The round footring is joined to all four legs and sits 11 inches off the floor.
Exposed brick, brass pendant lamps and a walnut-topped bar with a deep green front. The ivory seats read clearly against the dark wood.
Shiplap walls, a butcher-block island and a window full of lake and pines. Walnut sits well with pale blue paint.
With no back, Vogogna slides in under the counter and out of the way when you are done. It comes as a set of 2 or a set of 4.
The seat top is 30 inches, so it suits a bar counter about 40 to 42 inches high. For a 36-inch counter, look for a counter-height stool instead.
Measure your counter before you order. Leave about a foot between the seat top and the underside of the counter.
A backless round bar stool on four solid rubberwood legs. Walnut or Dark Walnut, set of 2 or set of 4.
