Each drawer front is carved into a row of tall hexagons. Every facet meets the light at its own angle, so the band reads as texture. A small iron pull sits on the top edge of each drawer and keeps the fronts clear.
The top, the sides and the fronts are MDF faced with real fir veneer. The four legs are solid fir.

Velletri is MDF faced with real fir veneer, on solid fir legs. MDF is dense and even, which suits a long, flat top.
Natural shows the grain and the knots. Black and Navy Blue are painted, and the honeycomb shows in shadow.

The pull is a short lip of iron with a distressed finish. It sits on the top edge of the drawer, so the front stays a clean field of facets.
Each hexagon is cut at an angle. The fir grain runs straight through every facet.
Four square legs run straight to the floor. A thick shelf sits between them, 5.5 inches up.
The shelf is 54.7 by 11.6 inches and rated to 100 lb. Baskets on top, shoes underneath.
