The teak is reclaimed from old houses. Small old dowel holes stay in the frame.
The seat and back are fat rolls of wrapped abaca, laid side to side between the rails. Each chair is made by hand, inspired by traditional Javanese styles.
25.6 inches wide, 29.5 deep and 27.6 high. Each side rail runs back into one long curved rear leg; the front leg rakes forward. Two low stretchers join the legs.
