Three rectangles, one table.
A thick top. Two posts. Three rectangles underneath.
Urbania’s base is built from square pine members joined at mitred corners. One long frame runs the length of the table. At each end, a second frame runs from front to back and passes through it. The two front posts stand in front of the long frame and split it into three openings: narrow, wide, narrow.
Painted black, the frames read as one clean drawing. In the two-tone colours, the top and the base take different shades.
