Tolmezzo is a dining set of seven pieces: one table and six chairs. The table seats up to eight, so there is room for guests.
The top is a plain black slab on two U-shaped trestle bases, with nothing between them. The chairs wrap round in one curve and slide under the top.
Each base is a set of square posts standing on a curved half-moon foot. The top is one black slab, with a fine joint across the middle where its two halves meet.

The long table and the round-backed chair start as two quick lines on the same sheet.
No cane across the front, so the seat and the arms stay open and easy to sit in.
The foot lies flat on the floor and curves round. Nothing joins the two bases.
The table is wood and MDF in an open-grain black finish. The chairs are black wood with a band of woven cane-look weave and a padded seat in ivory boucle-look fabric.
The grain varies from piece to piece. That is the wood, not a flaw.

Square posts rise from a curved foot that lies flat on the floor. Two bases, one near each end, and nothing joining them.
That leaves 27.5 inches of clear height under the top. The chair arms are 23 inches high, so the chairs slide in.
Putty walls, a dark herringbone floor and a warm sconce. Against the dark wood, the ivory seats and the cane catch the light.

The table box is 51″ × 42.5″ × 7.75″ and weighs about 134 lb. Each chair box is 46″ × 23″ × 10.25″ and holds two chairs, about 43 lb. Check your door and stairs before you order.
