Sun on the oak floor. A linen sofa, a cup on the larger drum. Tirano brings dark, wavy figure to a pale room, and takes up very little of it.
Two drums. No legs. Nothing to assemble.
Tirano is a pair of plain cylinders, finished top and sides in burl veneer: warm walnut-brown, long wavy grain, clusters of small dark eyes. The larger drum stands 21.26 inches high, the smaller 19.29, so the tops step down side by side.
Keep them together beside the sofa. Or split them up: one by the sofa, one by a chair.
Straight sides, a flat top and a crisp edge. The shape stays quiet, so the burl does the talking.

Two cylinders, two heights. The smaller one stands just lower, so the pair reads as a step.
The finish covers the top as well as the sides, so the figure shows from every angle.
Four small screw-in glides sit in each drum's base ring, out of sight.
Each drum is a hollow cylinder of manufactured wood (MDF) with a flat top. Outside and on top, a burl veneer finish carries the figure. The bottom edge is painted a soft tan and set on glides.

Both drums arrive fully assembled. No tools, no parts.
The smaller drum fits inside the larger one, so the pair ships and stores together.
Up close, the grain runs in long waves around clusters of small dark eyes. The tone deepens a little toward the edges.
The finish has a soft sheen, between matte and gloss.
Turn a drum over and you see how it is made: a hollow cylinder, its bottom edge painted tan, four small screw-in glides set into the rim.
From the room, none of it shows. The drum looks like it rests on the floor.
