A front made of triangles.

A long, low case. Four doors. A black iron base.

On each door, a dark triangle points down from the top and another points up from the bottom. Between them sits a long honey hexagon of mango, split down the middle. Side by side, the four doors make a zig-zag across the front.

There are no handles. Press a door and it opens.

The materials

Mango wood on black iron.

Tellaro is made of iron, mango hardwood and MDF.

The finish pairs a dark Medium Walnut with a honey Light Teak, both stains on mango. The grain stays in view, so each sideboard is a little different.

Mango hardwood

Honey panels with the natural grain left to show.

The detail

A dark top to set things on.

A bowl of lemons, a carafe and a few stems. The top is a flat, dark slab with square edges.

The base

Lifted on a black frame.

The case sits on a frame of black square iron tube: a leg at each corner, a rail at floor level all round and one rail across the middle.

Under the case, the floor shows through, so the long front looks light.
