Sirmione takes its shape from the wingback chair. A wing stands at each side of the headboard, turns outward at the top and runs down to the floor. The headboard feels sheltered, not heavy.
Everything is covered in boucle, a fabric woven from looped yarn. The legs are solid rubberwood, left pale.
The headboard is one smooth panel with a gentle arch. A thick rounded wing stands at each side and reaches forward over the rails. A slim upholstered rail runs around the bed at one low height.

Boucle is woven from looped yarn, so the surface has a soft, nubbly texture you can see and feel. Under it, the headboard is built on MDF panels for a smooth, even curve. The legs are solid rubberwood.
