Seven feet of oak, set for dinner.

A West Vancouver dining room under a cedar ceiling. Pale stone underfoot, black spindle chairs, and bread and candles down a long Sand oak top.

The Sarnano story

Soft at every corner.

A long top. Four tapered legs. One low stretcher.

The top is a long rectangle with softly rounded corners. Its edge is rounded too.

The legs are round and narrow toward the floor. They stand in from the ends of the top, and an H-shaped stretcher joins them low down: one bar across each end, one long bar down the middle.

The design

Mid-century lines in pale oak.

Eighty-four inches long and thirty-eight deep, on four slim legs. The rounded corners soften the long rectangle.

The end of the Sarnano table in Sand: two legs set in under the top, joined by a low bar
The base

Four legs, one low H.

From the end, the two legs stand in under the top. A low bar joins them, and the long centre bar runs back from its middle.

The bars are square and slimmer than the legs, so the base stays light.
