Morning comes in off the water. Sash windows, an oak side table, a jug of hydrangeas. Rovigo sits long and low, and lets the room breathe.
Three seats. Two wide cushions. Nothing fussy.
Rovigo is 83.5 inches across and only 32.25 inches high. The arms flare out as they rise, so the seat looks open from the front. Two deep seat cushions rest on a plain upholstered base, with two back cushions behind them.
It is shown with a tall pillow against each arm and a square pillow at each end, all in the same chenille. Beige keeps a room pale. Caramel warms it up.
Each arm leans out as it rises. The top is flat and square. The outside is one plain panel, from the arm to the floor. The cushions do the rest.
SketchFinished
Move the slider to see the drawing beside the finished sofa.
Two seat cushions, two back cushions and a pillow leaning into each arm.
Flat on top, plain on the side, wider at the top than at the seat.
Four short tapered legs, one under each corner. One seam runs across the base.
Beige is light and warm, with a fine nubby texture flecked with sand. Caramel is a deep rust with a crushed, shifting sheen. Foam fills the cushions. The frame is solid wood and MDF.
Chenille has a soft pile. It catches the light, so the colour moves a little as you walk past.
Cushions, pillows, arms and base, in one soft fabric.
High-density foam fills the seat and back cushions.
The frame sits on four short black legs.
Up close, the Beige chenille is a field of small, soft loops. A tall pillow leans into each arm.
The seat is 63.75 inches wide and 23 inches deep, split into two cushions.
The outside of each arm is one clean panel. A single seam runs across the front of the base, just under the seat cushions.
Four short tapered legs in black hold it up, one under each corner. No skirt, no piping, no buttons.
Olive walls, a herringbone floor and a lamp lit beside it. The pale chenille glows.
Limestone, a wool rug and a window full of grassland and mountains.
At 83.5 inches wide and 32.75 deep, Rovigo fills a long wall in a living room, a family room or a condo.
Choose Beige for a pale, quiet room. Choose Caramel for warmth and colour.
Check the doorway first. The box is 73.4 × 29.3 × 12 inches.
Two wide cushions, flared arms and a plain base on black feet, in Beige or Caramel chenille.
