The headboard has a straight top with softly rounded corners. A thick, round frame rail runs round a closed panel of narrow, rounded vertical reeds, and the frame runs down into round tapered legs.
The footboard repeats the reeds, low, under a round rail that curves down into two round corner posts. The side rails are plain boards that show the knots and nail holes of the reclaimed pine.
