Soft corners, straight lines.
A rounded box. Three drawers. A low plinth.
Parma’s character comes from its edges. The top rolls over both corners in one wide curve, and the bottom turns the same way. Round the drawers runs a stepped frame of three fine grooves, a shade deeper than the wood. From across the room it reads as one soft shape. Up close, the grooves catch the light.
It is wide and low, 28 inches across, so the top has room for a lamp and a glass with space to spare.
