A bowl and a few stems sit on Ondina’s pale stone surface. Beneath them, a gold ribbon curls towards the floor, picking up the glow of the lamps and fire.

The story

Follow the curve.

Daylight comes through the timber-framed windows. Two rust velvet chairs face a cream sofa. Blue and ivory soften the floor beneath them.

The brick fireplace and oak mantel give this room its straight lines. Ondina brings a different movement into the middle.

Its steel base rises into a broad curl, dips low and turns again beneath a polished sphere. Above it, the oval top follows the rounded edges of the seating.

The design

A ribbon beneath the stone.

Ondina’s base follows a continuous, flowing shape. A tall curl at one end becomes a low wave, then a smaller scroll at the other. A polished sphere rests where the ribbon rises again.

The oval top keeps the outline simple, letting the base carry the movement.

The detail

Where the line turns.

The smaller scroll folds back beneath the sphere. From the side, you can follow the ribbon through each change in direction.

Light catches the upper curve, then slips into the opening below. The shape offers something different as you move around the table.
