Morning light off the harbour. White linen, a stoneware bowl, a plaster sconce on the wall. Malcesine stands on four round posts and keeps the top clear.

The posts carry the design. Each one grows a little thicker toward the floor and leans slightly outward, so the base stands wider than the case. A rounded rail runs under the drawers and along each side.
One finish: a warm walnut brown over a fine, straight grain.
The top is one flat slab with square corners. Below it, two drawers sit between the front posts, each with one small black ring pull.

Each drawer runs on metal side slides and holds up to 11 lb.
Each post ends in a soft, rounded foot. The rails meet it just under the case.
The case is MDF with a fine-grain wood veneer, stained a warm walnut brown. The pulls are small rings in matte black.
The grain runs straight across the top and the drawers. The stain is one even tone.

Below the rails the base is open. The floor runs under the case, so the room feels lighter.
