The French doors are open. A dogwood in flower, a stone side table, a cup. Levanto sits upright in the middle of it, rust on walnut.
Two seats. One long pad. A back made of light and rattan.
Levanto is a settee, not a lounger. You sit up. One wooden band wraps the back and both arms, with hand-woven rattan between its rails. Below the band there is open air, then the seat, then four square legs.
Dark Orange on walnut reads warm. Green on walnut is quieter. Beige boucle on natural ash keeps a room pale.
The back and the arms are a single curved band. It ends in a squared block on each front leg. The seat sits below it, inside the frame.

Up close, the rattan is a fine lattice around small round openings, held between two flat wooden rails.
The seat is one pad, 44 by 21 inches and 3.5 inches thick. There is no seam down the middle.
Each front leg runs up past the seat to carry the end of the arm. The rear legs stand behind the seat and lean back a little.
There are no stretchers between the legs, so the floor stays open underneath. Levanto arrives flat in one box.

At 47.5 inches wide and 22.5 inches deep, Levanto fits where a sofa will not: a hall, the foot of a bed, a garden room, a window wall.
It is an upright seat, for sitting and talking. Choose Dark Orange or Green on walnut for warmth. Choose Beige boucle on natural ash for a pale room.
