The back is one curved band of leather, covered on both sides. Below it is an open gap above the seat.
The front legs rise past the seat to carry the arms. The rear legs rake back. The frame is solid ash.
The back band is low and curved. The arms are level, with a short rounded end. There are no stretchers between the legs.
