A family tannery in the valley where much of Italy's leather is tanned. The hides are finished with waxes and oils that leave the pores open.

Press it.

The colour lightens around your thumb. That is the pull-up of an open, waxed hide.

A thumb presses into Tuscan Cognac distressed full-aniline leather and it lightens to honey in a ring around it.

Fold it.

The crease turns a lighter honey, then settles back.

The seat sits 20.9 inches off the floor. With the headrests down, the sofa stands 33.5 inches tall.

One power, two manual, one on each back. Fully raised, the recliner's headrest gives an overall height of 39.8 inches (101 cm).

The power recliner is the seat beside the end arm, with USB charging built in. Its footrest comes out in two parts: a top-stitched leg rest and a narrower extension below it.

Fully reclined, the sofa is 61.4 inches (156 cm) deep at the recliner. It needs just 9 cm (3.54 in) from the wall.
