Slim track arms, a long bench-style seat cushion and two relaxed back cushions keep the look tailored but comfortable, while tapered dark wood legs lift the frame for a light mid-century stance. It suits a living room, den or loft, and the earthy colour works well with warm wood, brass and natural fibres.

Seat and back cushions are removable and reversible, with removable covers, and the cushioning combines foam, feather and polyester fibre. The frame is built in Canada from hemlock, alder and plywood and carries a commercial-grade rating. Darby measures 84 in wide, 40 in deep and 33 in high, with a 59-inch-wide seat that is 25 in deep and 17.5 in from the floor. Assembly is required.
