The design
Mid-century lines, mango wood.
The legs are solid mango, 2.4 inches thick. At each corner the leg runs up to the surface, and its round end grain sits in the corner of the top.
A round rail
The top is framed by a rounded rail that runs into the side of each leg.
Narrow by design
15.75 inches deep, for a hall or the wall behind a sofa.
One shelf
A long open shelf with a rounded front edge, set between the legs.

The materials
Solid mango, mango veneer.
The four legs are solid mango wood. The top and the shelf are mango veneer on engineered wood.
Mango grain varies from piece to piece, so every console is a little different.

Mango veneer top and shelf
Veneer on engineered wood, framed by the round rail. Grain and tone vary.
Two finishes
Walnut, a warm mid brown, or Mocha, a deep espresso brown. The same as the Corniglia dining table.
The rail
Rounded rails, a rounded shelf edge.
The top rail is fully rounded and runs straight into each leg. The shelf below has the same soft front edge.

The corner
The leg runs up to the top.
Each leg's round end grain sits in the corner, level with the surface. A fine line runs where the veneer panel meets the rails.

Living with Corniglia
Walnut or Mocha.
Walnut is a warm mid brown, at home with pale floors and white walls. Mocha is a deep espresso brown, for contrast in a light room.
At 15.75 inches deep it leaves room to walk past in a hall. At 63 inches long it suits a wall of about six feet or more.
