Morning light through a steel window. A travertine table, an olive tree, one chair. Cingoli brings the only soft surface to a room of brick, steel and oak.

Cingoli is built from three simple shapes. The band wraps the back and both arms in one sweep and rests on four thick rubberwood legs. The seat sits between them, wide, deep and low.
Light Camel and Wheat stand on natural legs. Olive Green stands on walnut.
The arms end square, right above the front legs. The seat is one thick block with rounded edges. Between the seat and the back, a gap lets the light through.

The back and both arms are one continuous band, drawn in a single sweep.
Each arm stops flat, directly above a leg.
Four rubberwood legs, 2.75 inches across, carry the whole chair.
Boucle is woven from looped yarn, so the surface is nubby and soft to the hand. The loops catch the light, and the colour shifts as you walk past.
The frame and the legs are rubberwood. Grain and tone vary a little from leg to leg. That is the wood, not a flaw.

The seat cushion is built on pocket springs with foam, so it pushes back when you sit.
