Two arms and a low back, in one soft curve.
Morning over the harbour. A round oak table, one stone bowl. Two Chiusi chairs pulled out from the table, and the room stays light.
Two arms and a low back, in one soft curve.
Chiusi is an upholstered dining armchair. The boucle wraps the seat at the arms and the back. Above the wrap, a separate back pad floats on a slim steel rail. Four slim steel legs lift it off the floor.
It comes as a set of 2 or a set of 4, in Light Gray.
The arms and the low back are one curve of boucle. The seat is a flat pad set inside it. The back pad rests above the curve, held on a slim steel rail.

Move the slider to see the drawing beside the finished chair.
A pencil study of the curve: one wrap, one pad, four slim legs.
A slim steel rail carries the back pad just above the wrap.
Four round steel legs. Each rises beside the arm and ends in a rounded cap.
The boucle is a looped weave in pale grey with black flecks. The frame is steel with a dark powder-coated finish.
Inside, high-density foam cushions the seat and the back.
A looped, flecked weave in pale grey and black. One colour: Light Gray.
Round steel tube with a dark powder-coated finish. Four slim legs, joined by a steel frame under the seat.
High-density foam in the seat and the back pad, for support through a long dinner.
Up close, the weave is a field of small loops. Pale grey, with black flecks running through it.
The arm front is rounded and plain. No piping, no buttons.
A single round steel rail arcs across the back. It carries the pad and leaves a thin gap between the pad and the wrap.
The rear legs rise up the back corners and end in rounded caps.
Deep green walls, a walnut table and one brass candlestick. The pale boucle stands out against the dark room, and the slim legs keep the floor in view.
Two chairs in a whitewashed stone dining room. The light grey boucle sits softly against the old stone.
A low, rounded wrap and a soft back pad make it easy to settle in. Slim legs keep the room light, in a Quebec stone dining room as much as a city apartment.
Choose a set of 2 for a small table, or a set of 4 for the family table.
Check your table's apron height against the arms before you order. Chiusi is 22.75 inches wide, so leave room to pull each chair out.
