One sunburst across six drawers.
About a hundred narrow strips of reclaimed pine run out from a single point on the centre line, just above the middle of the front. In the top drawers they fan up and out; in the middle and bottom drawers they run down and out, so the six fronts read as one pattern.
Where the strips meet there is only a small round button, cut into four by the drawer gaps.
The pine keeps its knots, nail holes and saw marks. Each front is pieced by hand, so strip widths, knots and tone vary from dresser to dresser.
