A tall chest of six drawers built from reclaimed pine: two small drawers side by side at the top, four wide drawers below, one slim wooden bar pull on each, and a low plinth set back underneath. The wood is distressed by hand and finished in a weathered mid-brown.

Every drawer front, the top and the sides are reclaimed pine. It has been used before, so it carries knots, old nail holes and saw marks.
The front is plain: six drawers inside a narrow frame, each with one slim bar pull cut from the same wood.
The case sits back on a low plinth, so it seems to float just above the floor.

At 37.4 inches wide, the chest takes a narrow stretch of wall beside a window, a door or a closet, and gives six drawers of storage where a wide dresser would not fit.
The chest is 19.7 inches deep; leave about 30 inches of clear floor in front so the drawers open fully.
