A small round dining table with two drop leaves, in Walnut or Black. With both leaves up it is a 42-inch round for four; let them down and the top is 26 inches across, narrow enough to stand against a wall. The top is oak veneer over engineered wood, on four square solid rubberwood legs.

The top is made in three parts: a centre panel 26 inches wide, and a leaf on each side, 8 inches deep.
Lift both leaves and the table is a full 42-inch round. Let them down and they hang straight on their hinges, out of the way.
A rounded, moulded edge runs all the way round. The two seams show as fine lines across the oak grain.
Four square legs splay a little outward from a plain apron, set back under the top. Nothing runs between the legs, so chairs slide in from every side.

The top and the leaves are oak veneer over engineered wood, so the open oak grain shows through the finish.

Where a leaf meets the centre panel, the moulded edge breaks with a fine line. That line is the hinge seam: it is how the table folds.
Let both leaves down and the top is 42 by 26 inches: a narrow table to stand against a wall, or to serve from along the side of a room.
When four sit down to eat, pull it out and lift the leaves.
The walnut finish is a soft, greyish brown, easy with oak, pine and painted walls, and the same finish as the Arden dining chairs. The black is deep and even, with the oak grain showing faintly; calm beside white walls and pale floors.
Both colours share the same top, leaves and legs.
