With its round top and softly tapered, pebble-shaped base, the Ainsley side table brings an organic, sculptural shape to a living room, bedroom or covered patio. It is cast from glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC) and finished in a light travertine look, with warm beige and sand-coloured banding running across the top and base like layered stone. The base has a slightly irregular form, so its profile changes as you walk around it.

The 24-inch top holds a drink, a lamp or a few books beside a sofa or lounge chair, and the table supports up to 150 lbs. It stands 22 inches high and weighs 77 lbs, which gives it a steady, grounded feel. GFRC is suitable for outdoor use between 0 and 40°C; outdoors, keep it under a roof or cover and protect it during colder winter months. The top and base ship in two cartons and require assembly.

Shaped Like a River Stone

Ainsley's base widens from a slim neck under the top to a broad, rounded foot, much like a stone smoothed by water. The form is slightly irregular, so the table shows a different profile from each side and looks natural placed at an angle beside a chair or sofa.

A Layered Travertine Look

Seen from above, the top shows soft bands of beige, sand and cream that echo the layering of travertine. The look is achieved in GFRC rather than natural stone, the same finish wraps the top and the base, and it pairs easily with oak, linen and warm whites.

Inside or Under Cover

GFRC is suited to outdoor temperatures from 0 to 40°C, so Ainsley can move between a living room and a covered patio or porch. Outdoors, keep it under a roof or cover, and protect it or bring it inside during colder winter months.
