Two angled prism forms rise in a V from a flat plinth and carry that geometry up to a 2-inch-thick top with bevelled edges. The table is built from select solids and veneers, with a washed oak PVC veneer surface that shows visible wood-grain detail in a light, sandy tone. It suits a contemporary dining room and mixes well with many chair styles and finishes.

Ellis extends with a self-storing butterfly leaf: pull the two halves of the top apart, unfold the 23.5-inch leaf from inside the table, and the length grows from 63 in to 86.5 in. Closed or open, it measures 35.43 in deep and 29.92 in high, and the single pedestal keeps the sides free of corner legs. The table weighs 170.56 lbs, ships in three cartons and requires assembly.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0186/9447/1744/files/ellis-washed-oak-butterfly-extension-dining-table-01.jpg?v=1792058010
